Identifying and Moving Through Shame
Shame is a universal emotion. Brené Brown defines it as the intensely painful experience of believing that we’re flawed and therefore unworthy of love, belonging and connection. That makes shame a major barrier to change. Being able to identify feelings of shame is an important step in understanding how to move through those feelings to experience more of the good stuff – more love, belonging and connection.
